The Maktoum Bin Hamdan Dental University College (MBHDUC) is accredited and licensed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the United Arab Emirates. The three year accredited program is

" MASTERS OF SCIENCE IN ORAL SURGERY WITH IMPLANT IN DENTISTRY "

Program Overview
The three year postgraduate program M.Sc. "Oral Surgery with Implant in Dentistry" is addressed to prospective students who want to develop advanced surgical skills beyond those acquired as undergraduates. The Program aims also to introduce the latest concepts and technologies associated with the safe delivery of implant dentistry.
Over the three year program of theoretical lectures and practical teaching, the students existing knowledge of basic surgical sciences will be expanded accordingly. Surgical skill training sessions, practical applications, live surgeries and workshops supported by leading professionals and academics in the field will help students to acquire the necessary surgical competencies.


Admission Procedures
Students are strongly encouraged to follow the program sequence for their degree and enroll for the courses for each semester.This will ensure timely completion of their degree and also takes into consideration the student's ability.
Admissions to all programs of MBHDUC shall be competitive and a personal interview will be part of the admission.

Academic Regulations
MBHDUC General Admission Requirements
The University College admission policy is based on students' academic degrees, regardless of gender, race, color, religion, age or national origin. All documents presented by the applicant for admission purpose shall become the property of MBHDUC and shall not be returned. lf, for any reason, documents presented by the applicant are deemed fraudulent, MBHDUC reserves the right to expel the student without refund or prior notice.

Academic Criteria
The academic criteria for enrolling to the master programs at MBHDUC are:
1. (Test of English as Foreign Language -
TOEFL Paper-based with a minimum score of 550,
TOEFL Computer based with a minimum score of 213,
TOEFL Internet-based with a minimum score of 79,
IIELTS Test with a minimum score of 6.0 or an equivalent test.
2. The undergraduate degree of DDS, DMD or BDS, certified by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the UAE.
Students holding a similar degree from a foreign University (outside the United Arab Emirates) must certify their degree from their national ministry of higher education then the United Arab Emirates' embassy in the country where the degree has been granted.
3. The transcript certified by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the UAE. Students with transcript from a foreign university(outside the United Arab Emirates)must certify their transcript from their national ministry of higher education then the United Arab Emirates' embassy in the country where the degree has been granted.
